Saturday 16 April 2011, Ashland CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) will be holding a Heartsaver CPR Adult course from 9:00 am to 12 Noon. This course is taught by firefighter-paramedics who are certified AHA (American Heart Association) instructors. The fee for the course is $35.00 and includes a student study book & card. The Heartsaver CPR Adult course is designed for employees and/or designated first responders who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. The course is also focused on individual community members who may need to respond to a friend and/or family member during a time of need.
